2014 Wedding Color Of The Year: Pantone’s Pick

While we do feel that we’re kinda, sorta in the wedding know here at Focus Photo Inc., we are not opposed from taking advice from other industry insiders.

That said, I was beyond excited when the Pantone Color Institute shared their 2014 wedding color of the year with us: Radiant Orchid.

“While the 2013 color of the year, PANTONE 17-5641 Emerald, served as a symbol of growth, renewal and prosperity, Radiant Orchid reaches across the color wheel to intrigue the eye and spark the imagination,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. “An invitation to innovation, Radiant Orchid encourages expanded creativity and originality, which is increasingly valued in today’s society.”

I’m not usually a purple kind of gal, but I’m so loving this shade! Dare I even go there? Is this maybe my new favorite color?? Well, at least until Pantone announces it pick for 2015. And of course, it’s a bonus for us that it photographs so well! (Can’t you just picture pops of gray with this?)
